Forgive: It's Gods Way
Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
To forgive others is difficult. Being frail, fallible, imperfect human beings, we are quick to anger, quick to blame, slow to forgive, and even slower to forget. No matter. Forgiveness, no matter how difficult, is God's way,and it must be our way, too. God's commandments are not intended to be customized for the particular whims of particular believers. God's Word is not a menu from which each of us may select items a la carte, according to our own desires. Far from it. God's Holy Word is a book that must be taken it is entirety; all of God's commandments are to be taken seriously. And, so it is with forgiveness. So, if you hold bitterness against even a single person, forgive. Then, to the best of your abilities, forget it. God's way for you to live. Looking back over my life, all I can see is mercy and grace written in large letters everywhere. May God help me have the same kind of heart toward those who wound or offend me. Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.

Fit to Serve
Whatever you eat, drink, or whatever you do, you must do all for the Glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
We live in a world in which leisure is glorified and consumption is commercialized. But God has other plans. He did not create us for lives of gluttony or laziness; He created us for greater things. God has a plan for every aspect of your life, and His plan includes provisions for your physical health. But He expects you to do your fair share of the work! In a world that is chock-full of tasty temptations, you may find it all too easy to make unhealthy choices. Your challenge, of course, is to resist those unhealthy temptations by every means you can, including prayer. And rest assured: when you ask for God's help, He will give it. We have a world to explore and master, and we can't do it if our bodies are accumulating fat and our muscles, joints, and internal organs are breaking down. We need exercise.
The one who acquires good sense loves himself; one who safeguards understanding finds success. Proverbs 19:8
This is so important to me. I weighed 265 at one point this year and my chest and heart began to hurt. I was out of shape and felt literally like I could have a heart attack. At 25, thats scary. I now have lost 30 pounds and I plan on losing 20 more. I feel healthier and most definitely in shape. I did not starve myself. I just got active and ate right. You can do it! Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.

Caring For Your Family
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8
The words of 1 Timothy 5:8 are unambiguous: if God has blessed us with families, then He expects us to care for them. Sometimes, this profound responsibility seems daunting. And sometimes, even for the most dedicated Christian men, family life holds moments of frustration and disappointment. But, for those who are lucky enough to live in the presence of a close-knit, caring clan, the rewards far outweigh the demands. No family is perfect, and neither is yours. Despite the inevitable challenges of providing for your family, and despite the occasional hurt feelings of family life, you clan is God's gift to you. Give thanks to the Giver for the gift of family..and act accordingly. God expresses His love by putting us in a family.
Whoever brings trouble with his family will be left with nothing in the wind. Proverbs 11:29

A Walk With God
I've laid down a pattern for you. What I've done, you do. John 13:15.
Each day, we are confronted with countless opportunities to serve God and to follow in the footsteps of His Son. When we do, our Heavenly Father guides our steps and blesses our endeavors. As citizens of a fast-changing world, we face challenges that sometimes leave us feeling overworked, over-committed, and overwhelmed. But God has different plans for us. He intends that we slow down long enough to praise Him and to glorify His Son. When we do, He lifts our spirits and enriches our lives. Today provides a glorious opportunity to place yourself in the service of the One who is the Giver of all blessings. May you seek His will, may you trust His Word, and may you walk in the footsteps of His Son. Christ is to be sought and bought with any pains, at and price; we cannot buy this gold too dear. he is a jewel worth more than thousand worlds. Get him, and get all; miss him and miss all.
The plans of the diligent lead to profit. Proverbs 21:5
Sometimes we all get so busy and we miss the chance to talk to people and more importantly talk to God. In this world we are always moving. Just slow down. Take a breath and thank God. I would also like to remember in my prayers Troy Davis. Someone who I do not know but someone that has touched the lives on millions I am not one to judge or say who did it and who did not do it, but I am one against the death penalty. The only person controlling life and death in my opinion is God. I was not there the night of that murder. But I am here now and I see that this case could be a cry for our country to show just how just or unjust it is. Always remember that at any time we could have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Have a great day. Thank God and Thank you..

IN GOD WE TRUST
And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:19
All of us experience adversity, disappointments and hardship. Sometimes we bring these hardships upon ourselves, and sometimes we are victimized by circumstances that we cannot fully understand. As human beings with limited insight, we can never completely comprehend the will of our Father in Heaven. But as believers in a benevolent God, we must always trust His providence. When Jesus went to the Mount of Olives, as described in Luke 22, He poured out His heart of God. Jesus knew of the agony that He was destined to endure, but He also knew that God's will must be done. We, like our Savior, face trials that bring fear and trembling to the very depths of our souls, but like Christ, we too must seek God's will, not our own. Have you been touched by a personal tragedy that you cannot understand? If so, it's time to accept the unchangeable past.. and it's time to trust God completely. When you do, you'll reclaim the peace--His peace--that can all be yours.
Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. Proverbs 21:5.
Trust in God. He has us. Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.

Faith That Moves Mountains
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, "Go, fall into the sea." And if you have no doubts in your mind and believe that what you say will happen, God will do it for you. Mark 11:23
Because we live in a demanding world, all of us have mountains to climb and mountains to move. Moving those mountains requires faith. Are you a mountain mover whose faith is evident for all to see? Hopefully so. God needs more men and women who are willing to move mountains for His glory and for his Kingdom. God walks with you, ready and willing to strengthen you. Accept His strength today. And remember--Jesus taught His disciples that if they had faith, they could move mountains. You can too....so with no further ado, let the mountain-moving begin. Only God can move mountains, but faith and prayer can move God.
Kind words are like honey--sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Proverbs 16:24
This thought today is such a good message. Sometimes we go through things and forget that it just takes faith and believing. God will and can do anything we want Him to that's in His will if we just believe. Having faith has brought me through a lot of situations. Fly Times is moving right now and a location is not selected yet. I am trusting in God and I know everything will work out. Apply this to your situation and you can't go wrong. Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.

Thanksgiving Yes...Envy No!
Stop Your Anger! Turn from your rage! Do not envy others--it only leads to harm. Psalm 37:8
As the recipient of God's grace, you have every reason to celebrate life. After all, God has promised you the opportunity to receive his abundance and His joy--in fact, you have the opportunity to receive those gifts right now, But if you allow envy to gnaw away at the fabric of your soul, you'll find that joy remains elusive. So do yourself an enormous favor: Rather than succumbing to the sin of envy, focus on the marvelous things that God has done for you--starting with Christ's sacrifice. Thank the Giver of all good gifts, and keep thanking Him for the wonders of His love and the miracles of His creation. Count your own blessings and let your neighbors count theirs. It's the godly way to live. Contentment comes when we develop an attitude of gratitude for the important things we do have in our lives that we tend to take for granted if we have our eyes staring longingly at our neighbor's stuff.
A tranquil heart is life to the body, but jealousy is rottenness to the bones. Proverbs 14:30.
Sometimes it can be very hard to sit back and think about just how blessed we are. We go through small problems and think its the end of the world. Sometimes I have to just sit back and remember just how blessed I am. We all look at some people and tell God but I know I'm more "saved" than that person or I'm doing better than they are and we can't do that. We have to realize our blessing is coming and God will only give you as much as you can handle. Don't worry about different things your neighbor may have. You never know what they are actually going through. Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.

Sharing Words of Hope
Lets see how inventive we can be encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshipping together as some do but spurring each other on. Hebrews 10:24-25
Hope, like other human emotions, is contagious. When we associate with hope-filled Christians, we are encouraged by their faith and optimism. But, if we spend too much time in the company of naysayers and pessimists, our attitudes, like theirs, tend to be cynical and negative. Are you hopeful, optimistic, encouraging believer? And do you associate with like-minded people? Hopefully so. As a faithful follower of the One from Galilee, you have every reason to be hopeful, and you have every reason to share your hopes with others. SO today, look for reasons to celebrate God's endless blessings. And while you're at it, look for people who will join you in the celebration. You'll better for their company, and they'll be better for yours. To the loved, a word of affection is a morsel, but to the love-starved, a word of affection can be a feast.
The tongue that heals is a tree of life, but a devious tongue breaks the spirit. Proverbs 14:4
This is such a good message. Positivity is so positive. And it can be contagious. Thinking negative and worrying is only an insult to God. Being hopeful gives you so many different reasons to want to achieve certain goals and moving on with your life. Encourage each other. The world is already crazy enough. Have great day. Thank God and thank you.

The Remedy For Uncertainty
He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. Matthew 8:26
Sometimes like Jesus' disciples, we feel threatened by the storms of life. During these moments, when our hearts are flooded with uncertainty; that God is not simply near. He is here.Have you ever felt your faith in God slipping away? If so, you are in good company. Even the most faithful Christians are, at times, beset by occasional bouts of discouragement and doubt. But even when you feel far removed from God, God never leaves your side.He is always with you, always willing to calm the storms of life. When you sincerely seek his presence--and when you genuinely seek to establish a deeper, more meaningful relationship with his Son--God will calm your fears, answer your prayers, and restore your soul. Struggling with God over the issues of life doesn't show a lack of faith--that is faith.
Better a little with fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil. Proverbs 15:16

Solving The Riddles
If you need wisdom--if you want to know what God wants you to do--ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent you asking. James 1:5
Life presents each of us with countless questions, conundrums, doubts, and problems. Thankfully, the riddles of everyday living are not too difficult to solve if we look for answers in the right places. When we have questions, we should consult God's word, we should seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and we should trust the counsel of God-fearing friends and family members. Are you facing a difficult decision? Take your concerns to God and avail yourself of the messages and mentors that He placed along your path. When you do, God will speak to you in His own way and in His own time, and when he does, you can most certainly trust the answers that He gives. As we trust God to give us wisdom for today's decisions, He will lead us a step at a time into what He wants us to be doing in the future.
It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way. Proverbs 19:2

The Battle Has Been Won
Cast your burdens upon the Lord and He will sustain you: He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Psalm 55:22.
Christians have every reason to live courageously. After, all, the ultimate battle has already been won on the cross at Calvary. But even dedicated followers of Christ may find their courage tested by inevitable disappointments and fears that visit the lives of believers and non-believers. When you find yourself worried about the challenges of today or the uncertainties of tomorrow, you must ask yourself whether or not you are ready to place your concerns and your life in God's all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving hands. If the answer to that question is yes--as it should be--then you can draw courage today from the source of strength that never fails: Your Heavenly Father. Seeing that a Pilot steers the ship in which we sail, who will never allow us to perish even in the midst of shipwrecks, there is no reason why our minds should be overwhelmed with fear and overcome with weariness.
The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trust in the Lord shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25.
This is right on time for me. Right now Fly Times is in them middle of making some big changes. Could be a new location in the city or even outside of the city. Throughout this process I have really had to turn to God. I had given up for a while and was ready to shut Fly Times down...but I didn't. Through all this I know there is a big blessing waiting on me and I just have to keep pushing on. Through the good and the bad. God can do anything. We can't worry. That's a slap in God's face. Be strong. Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.

No Complaints
Do everything without complaining or arguing. Then you will be innocent and without any wrong. Phillipians 2:14-15
Because we are imperfect human beings, we often lose sight of our blessings. Ironically, most of us have more blessings than we can count, but we still find reasons to complain about minor frustrations of everyday life. To do so, of course, is not only wrong; it is a pinnacle of shortsightedness and a serious roadblock on the path to spiritual abundance. Are you tempted to complain about the inevitable minor frustrations of everyday living? Don't do it! Today and everyday, make it a practice to count your blessings, not your hardships. It's the truly decent way to live. Life is too short to nurse one's misery. Hurry across the lowlands so that you may spend more time on the mountaintops.
So don't bother rebuking mockers; they will only hate you. But the wise, when rebuked, will love you all the more. Proverbs 9:8
This is such a great message. Throughout the day everyone hears people complain and we even do it ourselves over petty stuff. It's not worth it. If you have FAITH you should know it will work out. God's got us and is always working. Don't get to a point where you let the small stuff get you down. Someone out there has it worst. Just pray. Let Go and let God. Don't sweat the small stuff. Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.

Infinite Love
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
Christ's love for you is personal. He loves you so much that He gave His life in order that you may spend all eternity with Him. Christ loves you individually and intimately; His is a love unbounded by time or circumstance. Are you willing to experience an intimate relationship with Him? Your Savior is waiting patiently; don't make Him wait a single minute longer. Embrace his love today. Christ is an ever-flowing fountain; he is continually supplying his people, and the fountain is not spent. They who live upon Christ may have fresh supplies from him for all eternity; they may have an increase of blessedness that is new, and new still, and which never will come to an end.
Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3-4
This passage makes me feel so great. The love of God is never ending. No matter how many times we fall short he continues to love us. Don't take it for granted though. God always forgives but never forgets. He will punish but afterwards He shows us so much compassion. I have experienced this so many times. I fall short but God picks me right back up. No matter the situation or who you are dealing with God loves you more than anyone else. And we should love Him the same. He will never leave our side. Everyday we wake up its a blessing. It's a new day. Forget about yesterday. Have a great day. Thank God and Thank you.

A Growing Relationshiop With God.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peters 3:18
Your relationshio with God is ongoing; it unfolds day by day, and it offers countless opportunities to grow closer to Him... or not. As each new day unfolds, you are confronted with a wide range of decisions: how you will behave, where you will direct your thoughts, with whom you will associate, and what you will choose to worship. These choices, along with many others like them, are yours and yours alone. How you choose determines how your relationship with God will unfold. Are you continuing to grow in your love and knwowledge of the Lord, or are you "satisfied" with the current state of your spiritual health? Hopefully, you are determined to make yourself a growing Christian. Your Savior deserves no less, and neither, by way, do you.
Daily Proverb- Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
Thi s is the 1st post of the devotions I will be doing everyday. I felt like it was needed so that Fly Times would start seeing more and more people motivated. A lot of people are going through but what are you going to do about it. The days of pouting are over. Positive thoughts bring positive results. The past two years have been the best and the worst. Fly Times was established in December 2009. Thats my pride and joy. On the contrary I have dealt with a break in 3 months in, a DUI where I was sentenced to a year in prison even when it was 1st offense (I didn't havet to go. It was reduced to a few moths probation), Credit card fraud for over 6K, putting in work at another job doing 40 hours a week while running the store, and dealing with stress just having to move back home because of the store not having early success. Throughout all of this I have made it through but only through Jesus Christ and God. That has been my backbone. I just want you to know whatever you are going through you can make it out and get it going again. But its's a relationship. Think about it like this, If you never give your mom any attention or always have an attitude can you really expect to get something from the store? Same way with God, if you never spend any time with Him how can he know you. Stay prayerful. Don't worry. If God really has the entire world in his hands think about how easy it is for him to fix your small problem. Nothing is too big for God. Have a great day. Thank God and thank you.
